SEN Education Lawyer – Fully Remote Opportunity
Rate: £55.00 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Temp - Perm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Education Lawyer to support a busy local authority legal team within North Northamptonshire on a fully remote basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and education law to join a collaborative and highly regarded team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a caseload of SEN and education law matters
* Providing legal advice on SEND Tribunal cases, education disputes and related matters
* Advising officers, committees and senior stakeholders on education law issues
* Drafting legal documentation, witness statements and case papers
* Conducting legal research and ensuring compliance with current legislation and guidance
* Supporting the wider legal team on education-related matters as required
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive
* Proven experience in SEN and education law
* Previous local authority experience is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of SEND Tribunal procedures and education legislation
* Excellent communication and case management skills
* Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
