Dermatology Photographer Support Worker

We are seeking a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to support the teledermatology service within the Shropshire and Telford area. This is a new initiative, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a team shaping the future of teledermatology in community settings.
We are looking for a hardworking, punctual, kind, compassionate, and caring individual to greet patients and assist medical photographers in capturing clinical images. These images will be reviewed by senior clinicians to determine if a face-to-face consultation is necessary for patients referred by their GPs with suspected skin cancer.
Initially based at Hollinswood, Stafford Park, the service aims to expand into other community hubs and operate 7 days a week. If you possess the right personal skills and enjoy developing new services, we look forward to hearing from you.

Assist in capturing clinical images, greet patients, and support the teledermatology team in delivering high-quality care.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Level 2 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support or NVQ Level 3 in Care, or a commitment to work towards the Diploma qualification
Communication Skills
* Basic computer skills and competence (Word, Indigo Review, SEMA, Excel)
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This position is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A DBS check will be required to verify any criminal convictions.
