The Opportunity
Join our Digital Marketing Team as Paid Media Specialist. This hybrid role requires attendance at our Slough office.
As a Paid Media Specialist, you will play a key role in managing paid media campaigns and supporting wider digital marketing initiatives. You'll work both hands‑on within media platforms and collaboratively with agency partners to execute high‑performing campaigns.
Beyond the day‑to‑day execution, you will also be responsible for strategic forward planning, developing paid media campaign and asset plans 4–6 months in advance to ensure alignment with product launches, retail promotions, and brand priorities. This balance between longer‑term planning and short‑term optimisation will be central to the success of this role.
You will also contribute to website optimisation and content management to ensure an excellent user experience and seamless support for product visibility and retail promotions.
Key Accountabilities
* Campaign Strategy & Execution: Define, build, and execute paid media strategies across selected platforms, aligning with broader marketing and commercial objectives. Channels may include, but are not limited to: Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), YouTube Ads, Spotify, TikTok Ads, Pinterest, Twitch, and CTV (Connected TV) advertising.
* Hands‑on Media Management: Own campaign setup, budget allocation, performance tracking, and optimisation within platforms—particularly across paid search, display, video, and social media channels.
* Reporting & Analysis: Produce monthly reporting packs for each advertising platform, including performance data, analysis, future optimisation recommendations, general commentary, and attribution data.
* Attribution Management: Ensure attribution metrics are correctly set up and maintained, working directly with retailers TCL directs traffic to from advertising campaigns.
* Creative & Asset Management: Collaborate with internal and external design teams to develop campaign assets that adhere to TCL brand guidelines, sponsorship IP/usage rules, and partner (e.g., operating systems and streaming content providers) asset integration requirements.
* Creative Concept Development: Contribute to creative ideation for advertising campaigns, bringing forward design concepts or guiding internal/external designers to deliver innovative and impactful visuals.
* Mid- & Long‑Term Planning: Develop and maintain campaign and asset plans 4–6 months ahead, ensuring sufficient lead time for execution. Balance this forward planning with the day‑to‑day running of campaigns, including performance monitoring, reporting, and continuous optimisation.
* Agency Collaboration: Work in collaboration with media agency partners, ensuring alignment on KPIs, campaign objectives, and reporting schedules.
* Budget Oversight: Manage allocated media budgets, including raising POs, tracking spend, and ensuring financial compliance.
Experience Required
* Hands‑on experience managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, Pinterest, and Twitch.
* Experience planning and executing paid media strategies and performance campaigns.
* Familiarity with managing product content and assets for retail and e‑commerce purposes.
* Experience maintaining and optimising websites, either directly or via collaboration with an external agency.
* Strong working knowledge of analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4) and performance reporting.
* Previous experience in attribution setup and working directly with retailers is advantageous.
* Experience collaborating with designers and/or developing creative advertising concepts.
* Demonstrated ability to balance long‑term campaign planning with day‑to‑day campaign management.
* Previous experience in a consumer goods, e‑commerce, or performance‑driven marketing role is advantageous.

* Creative thinker with an eye for design and brand consistency.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CMS platforms and basic SEO practices is a plus.
* Knowledge of the consumer electronics sector is beneficial but not essential.
