Key Responsibilities
* Perform a full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment.
* Use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair of light and heavy goods vehicles.
* Utilise specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
Qualifications & Experience
* Fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent). You have your own toolkit for standard repairs.
* Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, for example HGV.
* Valid UK driving licence – full manual licence, preferably an HGV licence with trailer experience.
* High working standards – you take pride in your work and do what is necessary to make sure the job is done effectively.
* Flexibility to service demands – you are able to work on a flexible shift rota and are always willing to support your team where necessary.

Position Details
We're recruiting an IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic at the Bristol Workshop on a Permanent contract, with the potential to earn up to £50‑60k including overtime.
Salary: £39,715 per annum plus a night shift allowance of £571.27 per month.
A Saturday attendance supplement of £52.10 is paid every third week.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern
Full time – 39.5 hours per week (excluding meal breaks).
Shift pattern (rotating three week):
* Week 1 – Monday to Thursday: 21:00 – 06:00, Friday: 20:30 – midnight
* Week 2 – Monday to Thursday: 21:00 – 06:00, Friday: 20:30 – midnight
* Week 3 – Monday to Thursday: 21:30 – 06:00, Friday: 22:30 – 06:00 (finishing Saturday morning).
Our shift patterns may change over time as our operational needs develop, so we are looking for someone who can be flexible when required.
