VP of Central Europe – Digital Experience
We seek an experienced sales executive with strong leadership capabilities to drive the rapid acceleration and growth of our enterprise sales organization. Reporting to the WW Digital Experience SVP of Sales. The VP of Central Europe Sales will have full responsibility for driving new bookings, creating VP and C Suite relationships with key prospects and customers and increasing overall company revenue in a high priority growth segment.

The OpenText Experience cloud is focused on selling an industry-leading portfolio of Customer Experience Management (CEM) products across key industries and across multiple delivery models including License, Private Managed Service Cloud and Public Subscription Cloud. The DX portfolio helps businesses unlock new productivity gains while also improving revenue streams and bolstering existing ones, attracting and retaining customers, and reaching new segments—all while driving higher conversion and engagement. Our rich portfolio of Web Content Management, Digital Asset Management, Customer Communication Management, Messaging and Journey solutions offer exciting and compelling ways to address customer needs.
Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of transforming teams and developing management talent as well as leading a collaborative, predictable, successful, high-performing enterprise cloud sales team. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, lead-from-the-front executive, with a strategic understanding of the Experience and Communications SaaS/Cloud market. They will have extensive experience selling with strategic partners, building coalitions across internal teams and developing GTM sales plays across different countries and multiple product lines. In addition, this candidate must have a proven understanding and appreciation of solution cloud selling, strategic account planning and executive selling skills with C Suite buyers. Applicants must have attention to detail, thrive in complex, competitive platform selling environments, and expect growth, quarterly results and change. Experience within the Experience, Communications, Analytics industry is highly desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide outstanding sales leadership for the entire team, both inwardly and externally
• Manage the implementation of quarterly sales plays, successful execution of regional sales plans, appreciation of successful customers, through recruitment, coaching and development of a highly professional, results-oriented, world-class Enterprise Sales team
• Drive the development of new customer accounts and grow business volume within existing customers
• Know and develop strategic relationships with SIs and Resellers
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Experience, Analytics, Messaging and Communications Markets
• Leading a team of 40+ people driving $50M+ in yearly bookings across Central Europe
• Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
• Motivate and develop directors and sales teams to exceed quotas and challenge existing mindsets
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• An innovative and results-driven senior Sales executive with 15+ years (5 or more at the senior management level) of successful product/solutions sales experience
• Must have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding 100%+ of sales quotas
• Must have tangible experience in the development, deployment and successful execution of regional and national business plans
• Must be an accomplished leader and team builder with a history of managing successful sales teams in a highly competitive environment
• Must be driven, self-motivated and self-directed with a passion to succeed
• Experience managing a cross-functional matrix organization within an international company
• Strong negotiation, analytical, business relationship and coaching skills
• Must be able to thrive in a very fast-paced, matrixed and changing environment
• Track record of longevity in prior roles and progression in organization
• Proven ability to effect substantial positive change in a short period of time
• Proven track record establishing and maintaining relationships at the C-level
• Customer-orientated mindset; Able to quickly develop key customer relationships and to promote win-win sales strategies.
• First-class sales acumen with strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills; Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
