You'll be joining a team of fantastic Engineers that manage and maintain some of the latest production technology within the food industry, whereyoull work in collaborative shift teams alongside production, safety, and hygiene departments. You'll perform planned and preventative maintenance, using your engineering expertise to develop robust, long-term solutions.
The Role Ensure all engineering activities undertaken are compliant to internal & external standards including Health & Safety legislation, identifying any required actions so that the area of responsibility is healthy, safe and accident free.
Responsible for executing fault finding and maintenance through RCM and CBM activities. Driving improvements in asset reliability and reduction in losses.
Adheres to site specific machinery procedures to ensure safe and efficient asset maintenance, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational performance.
Drive a proactive Engineering Continuous Improvement culture - Contributing to the improvement and development of maintenance activities & standard operating procedures.
Compliance with quality and food safety legislation, company standards and specifications in order to meet the requirements of professional and legal standards.

Technically strong Multi Skilled Engineers, predominately mechanically biased with electrical skills (ideally in FMCG or high-volume manufacturing)
An apprenticeship, BTEC, HNC or similar engineering qualification
Experience with condition-based monitoring (thermal imaging, ultrasound, vibration analysis) is a bonus
Top-tier problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
A safety-first mindset, with good knowledge of H&S systems and legislation
