Sales Manager
Based from home candidates need to live in a commutable distance of London and Milton Keynes
Basic salary £65,000 up to £75,000 depending on experience, company car, annual profit share, private medical with family cover, pension, 33 days holiday, laptop, mobile and excellent career development and progression.
My client is a leading distributor of data networking and supplies into the electrical wholesale, data enterprise and industrial end user markets.
They are now seeking an experienced Sales Manager with experience of working in the Data Enterprise market to re-establish, grow and build strong customer relationships to increase sales revenue and profitability by offering a range of products/brands, supported by first class customer service, technical support, commercially competitive terms, and proactive account management.
As a Sales Manager you will create the strategy and plan to develop and lead the business development within this focused market including sourcing, pricing, technical, marketing and sales.
Candidate Skills
* Demonstrate significant sales experience with a proven track record of success, ideally working in the data enterprise networking market.
* Full product and market training will be provided, but it would be advantageous to have experience of the data enterprise networking market and the market dynamics that operate within.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Potential to develop into more wider functions within the business management team and support the General Manager.
Duties
* Focused sales and pro-actively building customer relationships and business levels with new, dormant, and existing customers.
* Forecasting, sales planning and proactively managing a CRM database.
* Raising quotations, following up, and building a project pipeline.
* Building product and brand awareness with customers.
* Responsible for sourcing and identifying product gaps and brands and working with targeted manufacturers to agree commercial terms and distributor agreements.
* Create a pricing and margin strategy that is monitored and controlled to ensure the business meets key price points and achieves forecasted margin levels.
* Proactively offering technical support to customers by utilising the manufacturing brands technical support teams and resources.
* Identify and create a communications strategy focused on developing increased brand and company awareness and supported with a proactive promotional plan.
* Forecasting and reporting and creating and reporting on the financial performance of the business sector.
