This is a vital role within a residential care setting, supporting residents with high-quality, person-centred care while providing leadership and guidance to the night staff team.The successful candidate will have previous medication administration experience, which is essential for this role.Hours: 33 hours per week (night shifts)Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plansAssist residents with daily living activities including personal care, mobility, dressing, bathing, and nutritionSafely administer and accurately record medications in accordance with policies and best practice (essential)Act as the senior member of staff on night shifts, providing leadership and support to the care teamMentor and support junior staff, promoting best practice and a professional working environmentComplete care documentation clearly, accurately, and in a timely mannerMaintain a safe, calm, and respectful environment for residents and staffEnsure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, health & safety, and regulatory requirementsRespond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, or changes in residents' conditionsPromote dignity, respect, choice, and independence at all timesEssential Criteria??
