As part of this ongoing development, a new opportunity has arisen for a Quality Compliance & Sanitation Lead to join the technical team and play a central role in ensuring full compliance with regulatory, customer and audit requirements while driving high standards across the factory floor. Your new role As the Quality Compliance & Sanitation Lead, you will champion food safety, hygiene and technical standards across the site, ensuring the business operates in full compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, GMP and customer expectations. You will lead and develop a small team, embedding a strong quality and LEAN culture while supporting problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives. A key part of your role will involve managing internal audits, preparing the site for external and customer audits, and driving the close out of non-conformances. You will own the site's sanitation monitoring programmes, including EMP and hygiene team oversight, ensuring results meet all targets and KPIs. Working closely with the Quality Systems & Regulatory Lead, you will support complaint reduction, contamination investigations, risk assessments and improvements across all quality compliance systems. This is a hands-on role where you will provide on the floor technical support, act as a subject-matter expert and work collaboratively with cross functional teams to strengthen food safety culture and operational performance. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will have experience in a technical, quality or food safety position within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of hygiene standards, GMP and BRCGS requirements. You will bring proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop others, alongside excellent communication, organisational and problem solving abilities. A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and the confidence to influence across departments will be essential. Qualifications in HACCP, Food Safety or Internal Auditing would be beneficial but are not essential for the right candidate.
