Job Description
3. Define and deliver the group-wide systems strategy across PLC, SCADA, and CMMS platforms
4. Lead standardisation of control systems, architectures, and maintenance frameworks
5. Oversee plant control systems including design, commissioning, and upgrades
6. Own asset management and CMMS to drive maintenance efficiency and asset lifecycle optimisation
7. Ensure high availability and reliability for 24/7 operational environments
8. Manage system integrations, upgrades, and continuous improvements
9. Develop documentation, training, and capability across sites
10. Lead change management and stakeholder engagement across operational teams
11. Manage vendors, integrators, and service contracts
12. Ensure systems meet safety, compliance, cybersecurity, and data governance standards
13. Support data reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making
The Successful Applicant
14. Proven experience with PLC and SCADA systems in industrial or process environments
15. Strong knowledge of CMMS/EAM and asset lifecycle management
16. Experience leading multi-site system implementations and upgrades
17. Background in 24/7 or safety-critical operations (e.g. energy, utilities, manufacturing)
18. Strong stakeholder management across operational and senior leadership levels
19. Experience managing vendors and systems integrators
20. Understanding of system architecture, data platforms, and digital systems
21. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and OT/IT environments
22. Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI
23. Degree in IT, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
