Mydas Recruitment are specialists in sourcing candidates for the manufacturing & engineering sectors. Due to recent expansion, our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, has a requirement for a CNC Programmer to join their established team.
Responsibilities include:
1. Creation and modification of CNC programs using Siemens NX to facilitate machining of production parts according to engineering design.
2. Analysis of part designs to plan logical machining strategies.
3. Verification of CNC programs using appropriate software prior to production release.
4. Performing all programming assignments independently.
5. Working efficiently to meet tight schedules.
6. Ensuring a safe working environment is maintained.
7. Performing any other duties necessary to support business needs.
Essential Criteria:
* 2+ years experience in 3-axis CNC programming using a recognized CAD/CAM system.
* 1+ years experience in 5-axis CNC programming using a recognized CAD/CAM system.
* 2+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
