Manufacturing Engineer – Bournemouth – £45,000–£47,000
Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Bournemouth, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in driving continuous improvement and supporting production efficiency within a modern manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimising production processes, improving product quality, and ensuring cost-effective manufacturing operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction and ongoing process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes
* Support new product introduction (NPI) activities
* Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
* Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
* Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
* Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role
* Strong understanding of production processes and lean principles
* Experience within a manufacturing environment (e.g. mechanical, electrical, or precision engineering)
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Package
* Salary: £45,000–£47,000
* 37-hour working week (4.5 days)
* 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
