Sales & Marketing Executive (Automation & Engineering Sector)
Our client is a well-established automation and engineering company and they are looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive to join their team in Worcester. This is a dual role, and would suit someone with a B2B marketing background who is confident engaging with customers and developing new business opportunities.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to combine hands-on marketing activity with direct sales involvement in a technical, project-led environment.
The Role
The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for driving lead generation and supporting business development while managing the company's marketing output across digital channels, campaigns, and content creation.
This will include:
* Creating case studies, email campaigns, and LinkedIn content
* Managing the company website and optimising content for SEO
* Monitoring campaign engagement and reporting on performance
* Identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities
* Managing inbound leads and maintaining CRM records (Pipedrive)
* Coordinating with the engineering team on proposals and quotations
* Supporting site visits, client meetings, and exhibitions
You'll work closely with the General Manager and technical teams, helping to shape commercial growth and raise brand visibility across target markets.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Experience in B2B marketing and / or sales
* Excellent communication and content creation skills
* Familiar with digital tools such as LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Canva, or similar
* Comfortable using CRM systems
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage varied workloads
Desirable:
* Experience in engineering, automation, or manufacturing sectors
* Exposure to exhibitions, CMS (e.g. WordPress), or SEO

Office based in Worcester
£30 - £35k (depending on experience)
