Renewables Electrician (Off The Tools)
East Leeds | Office based
We’re looking for a qualified electrician to come off the tools & carry out desktop audits of domestic solar PV installations, review technical documentation, and ensure systems meet industry standards. You’ll work closely with installation teams, providing technical guidance, identifying issues, and helping improve installation quality across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct desktop technical audits of solar PV installations, upgrades, and maintenance checks.
* Review project documentation and technical drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Identify defects, safety hazards, or performance issues and provide actionable recommendations.
* Support continuous improvement by giving feedback on common issues and trends.
* Collaborate with installation teams and engineers to resolve audit findings.
What we’re looking for:
* NVQ Level 3 qualified electrician
* 18th Edition wiring regulations
* Experience with solar PV
* Strong electrical knowledge and problem-solving skills
