We are seeking a proactive and experienced Department Leader to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing team activities, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining efficient workflow processes. Job Purpose
To lead, manage and organize the UKSM Warehouse Department. Ensuring all areas of the warehouse operation run smoothly and efficiently from goods in to goods out. Maintain accurate stock levels, clean areas and meeting all associated KPIs. Ultimately leading to:
· Smooth Fulfilment / Delivery of Orders
· Customer Satisfaction
· Customer Retention
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Managing the UKSM team and warehouse operations in all of the operations detailed in the general team duties and responsibilitiesas well providing back up support in these areas when busy
· Assigning different team members to different zones where needed and monitoring the changing needs throughout the day
· Ensuring all KPIs are met including
* All Next Day and Goal orders are sent out on time
* All purchase orders checking in timely manner
* All returns checked in timeline manner
* All stock put away and no stock left in REC or multi SKU locations
· Being an escalation point for any warehouse issues from team members
· Performing despatch checks and password overrides
· Organising and performing mass stock checks at times through the year as well as seasonal re-organisation of stock inline with reports and feedback from managements
· Performing regular stock checks and investigations for errors
· Training new & existing staff on all areas of the job
· Following up with staff members on errors and providing guidance on how to improve
· Ensuring all communication on slack is answered
· Having a regular communication and meetings with the office management
· Performing weekly consumable stock counts and re-ordering as necessary to ensure we never run out of stock
General Team Duties and Responsibilities
· Picking orders use the voice headset and computer
· Packing & despatching orders inline with company guidelines
· Wrapping pallets for despatch and taking to despatch lorries
· Checking in new purchase orders on the handheld & liaising with office on issues
· Checking customer returns & liaising with office on issues
· Putting away new and returned stock into bays
· Ensuring products are stored safely and labelled correctly and safely
· Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse
· Meeting required KPIs as set out by the company
· Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the Warehouse at all times
· To ensure that all duties are carried out in line with Company and health and safety and other Company requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.75-£14.75 per hour
