Vacancy - Mechanical Assembler on a twilight shift.
Our client based locally in Stonehouse is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join them on their Twilight Shift - Full time working shift split across the days of Monday- Wed 14:00-00:30 and 14:00-23:30 (Thurs).
The position would ideally suit someone with a flexible attitude to work and a desire to add to their existing skills set.
Responsibilities:
•The role will include the full assembly of parts pre and post paint
•Follow work orders, ability to read production drawings and sample assemblies to ensure items are assembled correctly
•Report on stock levels as required
•Packaging and dispatch of products as required
•Checking and reporting goods in as required
Requirements:
•Good ability to work quickly and diligently.
•Confident with use of handheld mechanical tools for assembling components.
•Self-motivated and able to work individually or as part of a team and prioritise their own workload
•A positive hands-on approach with previous experience in a similar role
•Ability to work in a safe manner following health, safety, environment and quality guidelines and instructions
•Excellent communication and time management skills
