Job Description:
Virgin Media O2 is seeking an Account Director to join the Critical Network Infrastructure (CNI) account team, responsible for new business and existing revenue for select partners. This role involves maintaining excellent customer relationships, representing VMO2 Fixed Wholesale, and leading virtual teams across pre-sale, delivery, and in-life stages.
We seek an experienced sales professional with a strong business development mindset and senior partner leadership skills. Experience in the Wholesale/Network Infrastructure telco market, especially with MNOs, broadcast, and Towercos, is essential.
The successful candidate will have a desire to inspire change, a proven sales track record, and excellent communication skills. They will help drive customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score with the support of the virtual team.

The must-haves
To be considered, you must have:
* Experience with the Wholesale / Network Infrastructure telco market, key players, and macro trends, especially with MNOs, broadcast, and Towercos.
* Leadership experience in closing multi-million pound (£5M+) strategic deals with virtual teams.
* Experience in opportunity generation & revenue retention, managing large customers with revenues over £5M annually.
* Strong commercial and financial understanding, including P&L and Capex impact.
* Technical knowledge of Fibre and Optical networks relevant to wholesale partners.
* Experience engaging at senior/board level (C-level).
* Outstanding sales and account management skills.
