Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Middlesbrough, UK
Main Responsibilities:
1. Site Planning: Develop on-site project activities related to the assigned discipline with the Site Manager or Site Construction Manager, including local resources, equipment, and milestones. Coordinate agreements between customers and external resources on installation/construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policies.
2. Site Coordination and Monitoring: Oversee all on-site activities related to the assigned discipline from receiving the site area to handover, ensuring successful execution of start-up, installation/construction, erection, testing, and commissioning in line with specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Stakeholder Relations: Act as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and other local organizations.
4. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure a detailed and up-to-date construction H&S plan is in place, compliant with company policies. Promote health and safety awareness among project partners and suspend activities if HSE violations occur. Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of equipment, coordinating logistics for timely delivery.
5. Sub-contractors Management: Manage on-site subcontractors to ensure quality and progress meet standards and deadlines.
6. Site Cost Management: Monitor project costs, manage petty cash, and handle local purchasing within delegated authority.
7. Documentation: Maintain and update all project documentation, ensuring the latest revisions are used on site.
8. People Leadership and Development: Organize, staff, and guide the team. Support HR in performance reviews and coordinate local site facilities and logistics.
Summary:
Supervise a team in executing tasks within an assigned area, ensuring proper work coordination and performance management. Candidates should have several years of experience as a Site Supervisor, with knowledge in Site Management, Health & Safety, Environment, Quality Assurance & Control, Installation Works, and basic knowledge of Commissioning and Civil Works.
