We have an opportunity for an efficient and friendly Bank Receptionist at our Willows Care Home in Milton Keynes. * £12.85 to £13.05 per hour
* Bank hours available - 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 3pm weekends
About the role:
* As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring everyone is greeted warmly.
* Ensure all visitors sign in and out.
* Answer all telephone calls, deliver messages promptly, or transfer calls to relevant staff.
* Handle incoming and outgoing post.
* Keep the reception area neat and tidy.
* Collaborate with the Home Manager and Administrator to maintain adequate stationery supplies.
* Record and report on the home's daily and weekly updates as directed by the Home Manager.
* The role also involves promoting the home, conducting show-arounds, and supporting recruitment efforts.
Ideal candidates will have:
* A positive, can-do attitude
* Excellent communication skills
* Good IT skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Attention to detail
* Previous experience in a customer-facing or reception role
