Overview
The Environment Agency is committed to inclusivity and equal opportunities, offering flexible work arrangements for all vacancies. Join us in a diverse environment where every voice is heard and valued.
Do you want to effectively regulate the energy sectors to create a better place? The UK strategy to deliver Net Zero drives a transformation in energy sectors, which are responsible for 24% of UK greenhouse gas emissions. They must decarbonise by 2050 while doubling electricity production. Energy security pressures are accelerating a shift to sustainable power sources. Through effective regulation, we aim to ensure energy sectors protect people and the environment from emissions and mitigate and adapt to climate change impacts.
We are recruiting a fixed-term role, up to 2 years, for someone with experience in or regulating energy sectors, including combustion plants, waste incineration and refineries.
