🔷 About my client
My client are a specialist HVAC and air conditioning company delivering:
• Installation
• Service & maintenance (PPM)
• Reactive and remedial works
• Compliance services including TM44 inspections
My clients focus is on growing the service division, increasing recurring revenue, and expanding our commercial client base.
🔷 The Role
This is a new business-focused sales role, responsible for:
• Identifying companies requiring HVAC service support
• Generating and developing their own sales pipeline
• Selling PPM contracts, reactive service support, and TM44 inspections
• Converting opportunities through to sales closure
This is not a reactive or account management role — the individual must be capable of creating opportunities, not waiting for them.
🔷 Key Responsibilities
• Generate new business opportunities through targeted prospecting
• Identify companies with air conditioning systems requiring service and compliance
• Develop opportunities from first contact through to close
• Sell PPM contracts, service agreements, and TM44 inspections
• Build relationships with commercial clients and decision-makers
• Maintain a structured and active sales pipeline
🔷 Sales Process & Discipline (Important)
The successful candidate must operate in a structured and accountable manner:
• All opportunities must be recorded and managed within my clients CRM system
• No off-system pipeline is permitted
• A weekly sales forecast must be provided
• Forecasts must be updated daily as opportunities progress
CRM compliance and forecast accuracy form part of performance measurement and commission validation.
🔷 Candidate Profile
My client are specifically looking for someone who:
• Has proven experience in HVAC, building services, or service-based sales
• Has a strong track record in new business development
• Is confident generating their own pipeline
• Has experience selling maintenance contracts, service agreements, or compliance-led services
• Can manage opportunities from prospecting through to close
• Is structured, organised, and commercially focused

🔷 Package
• Basic salary: £30,000-£40,000 basic plus car and usual business tools.
• Excellent performance-based commission linked to gross profit

My client are not looking for:
• Generalist salespeople with no relevant sector experience
• Candidates reliant on inbound leads
• Candidates without a proven track record of generating new business
