ABOUT ES BROADCAST
ES Broadcast is a leading provider of equipment sales, equipment rental, and systems integration services to the professional broadcast industry, live events, esports, corporate, and government sectors. It is part of the ES Media Group, which includes divisions in cinema equipment rental (Film Store Rental) and library migration and content services (Memnon). The Group Content Writer will create content for multiple businesses within the ES Media Group.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Group Content Writer produces high-quality, engaging, and industry-relevant content across multiple divisions. This involves crafting compelling content, ensuring brand guideline compliance, and tailoring content to each business's needs.
The company prepares tender responses for markets requiring formal processes. The proposals team handles these responses, and the Content Writer prepares non-technical proposal elements, selects content from templates, and collates response documents.
The role involves working within the Systems Proposals team and collaborating with other divisions for wider marketing tasks.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Minimum three years of experience in preparing responses to tenders and proposals, especially for public or government bodies. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to understand complex technical concepts are essential. Experience with style sheets, templates, and document management tools is required. Experience in related roles like grant writing is also considered.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Writing non-technical proposal elements
* Editing templates and content layout
* Ensuring compliance with requirements
* Maintaining proposal document libraries
* Adhering to brand guidelines
* Collating response elements for submissions
* Managing social media and digital content
* Writing press releases, case studies, and website content
* Contributing to marketing campaigns
* Proofreading and editing content
* Collaborating with marketing teams to align content
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Exceptional writing and editing skills
* At least three years' experience as a content writer
* Strong editorial judgment and ability to interpret briefs
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
DESIRABLE SKILLS
* Degree or qualification in relevant fields
* Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Visio, Smartsheet, broadcast industry experience
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Responsibility for health and safety, policy compliance, and flexibility to undertake additional duties as required.
