You’ll be working within a secondary English department, gradually building confidence in the classroom while developing the skills needed to become a qualified teacher in the future.

What you’ll be doing
* Supporting English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Working with pupils in small groups and whole-class settings
* Helping students engage with reading, writing, and discussion
* Learning how to plan, deliver, and reflect on lessons over time
* Building classroom confidence with guidance from experienced teachers
You won’t be thrown in at the deep end. You’ll ease in, observe, support, and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
