Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting a Project Worker at St. John's Church Road, Folkestone, to support children and young adults.

Role of Project Worker includes:
1. Providing support to encourage young people to maximise their potential and independence.
2. Offering high-quality, person-centred support to develop customers' skills for independent living, within legislative and best practice frameworks.
3. Building professional relationships, promoting independence, privacy, and dignity.
4. Helping customers understand and plan their support packages, focusing on positive outcomes.
5. Providing advocacy support to customers and families.
6. Liaising with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support and community integration.
7. Implementing safeguarding principles to ensure customer safety.
8. Promoting safe practices and conducting risk assessments.
9. Participating in special programmes and projects aligned with organisational values.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience working with vulnerable children and young adults.
* Knowledge of key needs and services for the target group.
* Understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Good written and spoken English.
* Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer care skills.
* Positive, accepting attitude towards customers.
* Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate information clearly.
* Basic calculation skills.
* Proficiency with email and internet use.
