Are you a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor looking for flexible work in a supportive secondary school environment? Our partner schools in Hillingdon are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their supply pool, providing daily and short-term classroom cover across a range of subjects.
This is a great opportunity if you enjoy variety, thrive in busy settings, and are happy to take on last-minute bookings - including same-day requests. We welcome candidates with previous Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or Tutor experience who feel comfortable leading a classroom.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising classes during teacher absences
* Ensuring students stay on task and follow set lesson plans
* Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
* Supporting students when needed
* Communicating with teachers and senior staff when required
Person Specification:
* Previous experience working in a secondary school (essential)
* Confident managing behaviour and engaging groups of students
* Flexible, reliable, and able to respond to short-notice cover
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* A degree or education-related qualification is beneficial but not essential
Requirements:
* Degree Level Qualifications
* Expereience working in a school setting
* DBS Certificate - Online Update Service
* Satisfactory references covering 2+ Years
