We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Orderbook Professional to join a major defence programme supporting the Typhoon Repairs order book at Samlesbury.
This is an exciting opportunity for a supply chain or orderbook professional to work within a fast-paced operational environment, supporting customer delivery requirements and coordinating activities across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery
* Maintain and coordinate order books to ensure delivery targets are achieved
* Liaise with internal teams including Procurement, Engineering, and Commercial
* Support customer orderbook reviews and stakeholder meetings
* Update ERP systems with accurate and current information
* Monitor KPIs and report on delivery or operational impacts
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including international customers and suppliers
* Support forecasting, shipments, and supply chain coordination activities
About You
* Previous experience within orderbook management, supply chain, or logistics
* Experience working in a customer-facing environment
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Good understanding of KPIs and operational performance
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload effectively
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
* Experience using Infor LN ERP systems
* Experience within manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or defence environments
