Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s learning? Do you have the skills to support and inspire pupils in a warm and inclusive environment? If so, we’d love to hear from you. Hillside Primary School is a friendly and welcoming primary school where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their best. We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team for 30 hours per week to help provide high-quality learning support both inside and outside the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Work in our Early Years provision but be flexible to work in other key stages if required. Support teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons. Work with small groups or individual pupils to boost learning and confidence. Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and displays. Contribute to creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Promote the school’s values and ethos in all aspects of school life. We are looking for someone who: Has experience of working with children (preferably within a school Early Years setting). Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping children succeed. Has good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. Shows initiative and flexibility in responding to the needs of pupils and the school. Is able to demonstrate exemplary primary classroom practice in the Early Years. Has a positive outlook and the ability to work well with others, as part of a team Has very high expectations of achievement and behaviour. Contributes to creating an inclusive, safe inspiring classroom environment. DBS Checks This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Amendment Order 1986 and, as such, it will be necessary for a Submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
