Role: Marketing Assistant (2-4 hours per week)
As a Marketing
Assistant
, you will support our new Marketing & Brand Engagement team by transforming ideas, editorial content, and policy insights into clear, engaging, and platform-appropriate digital content. This voluntary role is perfect for university students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in digital media marketing and current affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex topics into concise, engaging content.
* Examine, analyse, and contribute to long-form reports on the digital media landscape, exploring new risks and emerging trends.
* Creative approach to content presentation while maintaining analytical integrity.
* Awareness of SEO best practices and digital trends.

Desired Skills/Experience:
* Preferably not required
* Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
* Some experience in content creation, preferably in news, analysis, or intelligence sectors.
* Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics to optimise content performance.
* Preferably not required -
Basic website editing experience using Wix; having the ability to update text, images, links, and layout elements to keep the site accurate and engaging; no advanced coding required.
