About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and empathetic Resident Liaison Officer to join our Building Safety division within a leading residential development company. This role is critical in supporting residents and leaseholders while building safety works and compliance programmes are delivered across our portfolio.
Working remotely, you will act as the key point of contact between residents, building management teams, contractors, and internal departments. You will ensure residents are kept informed, supported, and engaged throughout building safety investigations, remediation works, and ongoing compliance activities.
Regular travel across the UK will be required to attend resident meetings, host engagement events, and support communication during key project stages.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for residents regarding building safety programmes and remediation works.
* Organise and attend resident meetings and engagement events across the UK.
* Provide clear, timely communication to residents about project timelines, works, and safety measures.
* Respond to resident queries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
* Work closely with internal teams including Building Safety, Property Management, and Project Delivery.
* Support the preparation of resident communications such as newsletters, notices, and updates.
* Maintain accurate records of resident engagement and feedback.
* Assist with consultation processes where works impact leaseholders.
* Help ensure residents feel informed, supported, and confident throughout building safety programmes.
About You
* Experience in a Resident Liaison Officer or an Engagement Coordinator for a developer or main contractor
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations.
* Comfortable presenting to groups and facilitating resident meetings.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple buildings and stakeholders.
* Ability to travel weekly.
* Experience in residential development, housing associations, property management, or construction is desirable.
* Knowledge of building safety, remediation programmes, or regulatory compliance would be an advantage but is not essential.
