Role title: Network Solutions Engineer
Salary: Upto £55k Base Plus benefits
Location: Cirencester/Hybrid (Requirements to work on site around the UK and in the office 2 days a week)
This is a superb full-time Network Infrastructure/Solutions role with 75% Presales and 25% hands-on responsibilities.
As an accomplished Network Solutions Engineer, you will have the opportunity to influence the technical roadmap of the company, designing and producing scalable, robust, and innovative solutions for our client's growing customer base.
This architecture and engineering role is flexible, providing full lifecycle network design and deployment for projects as needed, or to match customer demand. As the role develops, it can lead to specialization in design or deployment.
Ideal Experience and Qualifications
* A passion for technology - design and implementation of solutions
* Ability to build rapport with customers
* Experience with leadership/mentorship of junior engineers
* Knowledge of Cisco SD Access, Firepower Firewalls, Cisco Switching (Catalyst and Nexus), DNAC experience
* Experience with network automation technologies such as Auvik, Ansible/AWX, Netmiko
* Knowledge of Wi-Fi design and implementation, experience with survey hardware and software such as Ekahau
* Experience with ADSL/FTTC, MPLS WAN, VPN Connections, Aerohive, Fortinet Firewalls, Palo Alto, Juniper Firewalls, switches, and access points
* Experience with Meraki and Extreme Wi-Fi and Switching
* Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems, Netsuite, PRTG Network Monitor, TeamViewer, SolarWinds
* Experience of security solutions such as Endpoint, Identity Management, CASB, MDR
* Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) protocols such as Modbus and BACnet
* Experience working with Operational Technology (OT) networks including Industrial Switching, LoRaWAN, 4/5G Routers, SMS gateways, and low voltage (24VDC) hardware installations
* Cisco CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCDP certifications
