Base pay range
📍 Location: Bristol, Newcastle, Nottingham, Swansea, Birmingham (Garrets Green), Leeds, Hayes (Yeading) or Chadderton (Oldham) - (Hybrid)
💷 Salary: £35,663 - A Civil Service Pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%
In this role you will have the space and scope to excel in coordinating governance, reporting and communication activities for the Chief Technology Officer, and to cultivate and nurture meaningful connections with team members across Technology Services. The role sits in the Delivery and Service Management Team but supports the management team across the whole of DVSA’s Technology Services Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Governance such as risk management, tracking team deliverables and actions, and organising team meetings.
* Reporting such as freedom of information requests and parliamentary questions.
* Communications such as producing the quarterly team cascade, intranet articles and screening incoming emails and responding.

About you
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:
* Strong communication skills – confident and positive, with a proven ability to build relationships and effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Good prioritising skills, able to organise tasks and manage schedules to ensure maximum productivity. Able to find creative solutions and make the most of available resources.
* Proactive and able to take the lead on tasks, anticipate needs, and deal with changing priorities calmly and efficiently.
* Strong writing skills, with the ability to tailor content to an intended audience. Able to translate complex or technical concepts into plain English, to produce materials such as presentations and freedom of information request responses.
* Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams, and the ability to champion Teams and SharePoint within the Technology Services team.
