Job Title: Student Life Officer (Bars and Evening Entertainment)

Status: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week.

Overview

Reaseheath College is a forward thinking and dynamic College providing an excellent educational experience to over 4,500 students a year. Our Student Services team operate across the campus offering support, supervision and safeguarding for all students as well as organising a range of activities, societies and sports clubs.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven person, who is confident to lead the running of all aspects of the Student Union Bar, Evening Activities and Entertainment for the students on site.

Working (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 16:00 – 00:00 & Thursday 17:00 -01:00)

Key responsibilities:

* Organise and advertise a well-planned programme of events to suit all.
* Assist in supporting Student Union activities, societies, sports clubs.
* Manage the Jim Humphreys Centre (The Bar), Bield and Court Yard bars in the evening.
* Ensure residual bar duties are complete, including stocks, rotas, cleaning and line cleaning.
* Maintain records of student involvement and assist in patrolling the campus.

The successful candidate will:

* Minimum GCSE Maths and English Grade C (or equivalent).
* Demonstrable experience of interacting effectively with a diverse range of clients including working with young people.
* Personal License Holder or willing to work towards.
* Must have a full, clean driving license.
* Maximising effective and efficient use of social and sporting facilities.
