IT Project Manager Consultant - Perm - Bristol
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 pa
Location Bristol
Full Time 5 days on site
My client a leading consultancy operating at the forefront of innovation in the defence and security sector are looking for talented and experienced Project, Programme and Portfolio Management (P3M) Consultants to join our P3M team of experts based in Bristol.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a P3M Consultant (Project Manager), you will play a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end project and programme management services to our clients. You will work closely with national government bodies, international institutions, and global prime contractors, leading and supporting transformational change, major acquisition, technology insertion, and in service support projects. You will play an integral role in supporting customers to deliver key outputs and capabilities to an agreed baseline.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseEssential:
* Proven experience in project, programme, or portfolio management roles
* Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ChPP, PMQ, PPQ, PRINCE2, MSP).
* Experience of working in the defence sector or a military background.
* Supporting teams in dynamic, multi-disciplinary environments.
* Experience of assisting the Bid Winning process and practice such as PQQ/ITT/ITN.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads under pressure.
* Ability to travel to client sites across UK as required. (Predominantly South and South-West Regions).
Other Requirements:
* Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the UK.
* Candidates will need to undergo an internal BPSS check prior to gaining site access.
* Candidates will also need to either hold a current SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check (SC level) upon starting their employment with the company.
* To gain SC clearance you will normally need at least 5 years’ UK residency.
