Our client is looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner who can step into a broad, visible position within the business, working closely with senior stakeholders and heads of department to shape financial performance and decision-making.
The role:
Leading the budgeting and forecastingprocess
Acting as a true business partner providing insight on performance, profitability, and growth
Analysing key metrics such as utilisation, recovery rates, WIP, andprofitability
Translating financial data into clear, actionable insight for seniorstakeholders
Challenging assumptions and identifying opportunities to improve performance and efficiency
Supportingpricingdecisionsandbonusschemecalculations
Overseeing the production of accurate and timely managementaccounts
Leading the statutory audit process and acting as the key point of contact forauditors
Ensuringstrongfinancialcontrols,compliance,andauditreadiness
Drivingbetteralignmentbetweenfinanceandthewiderbusiness
Skills, experience:
Qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA or equivalent)with at least 23 years post-qualification experience
Experience within professional services (ideally with exposure to WIP, billing, and revenue recognition)
Strong commercial awareness, xsngvjr with experience working closely with senior stakeholders
Proven ability to influence, challenge, and add value beyondreporting
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financialplanning
Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and audit processes
AdvancedExcelandanalyticalcapability
Exposure to audit leadership orownership
Experience improving processes or introducing more efficient ways ofworking
