Professional Indemnity Lawyer, NQ-6 Yrs PQE Edinburgh
We are working with a highly regarded law firm to recruit a talented Professional Indemnity Lawyer to join its established disputes team.
You will join a market-leading professional indemnity team acting for major insurers and insured professionals across a broad range of claims. The caseload is varied and high-quality, including:
* Defending professional negligence claims against solicitors, accountants, architects and other professionals
* Coverage disputes and policy interpretation matters
* Complex and high-value litigation in the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts
* Managing cases from inception through to resolution

We are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
* 2–6 years’ PQE with experience in professional indemnity, insurance litigation, or commercial disputes
* Strong technical ability and confidence handling litigation matters
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive and collaborative approach
* A genuine interest in professional indemnity and insurance work
* Experience acting for insurers or defence-side litigation is advantageous but not essential.
