Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
* Lead end-to-end delivery of data centre construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out
* Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resource plans
* Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure alignment and progress
* Oversee procurement of construction services, equipment, and materials
* Manage all on‑site construction activities, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards
* Oversee installation of critical systems including power, cooling, mechanical, and structural elements
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
* Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews
Stakeholder Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, contractors, and external partners
* Provide clear and consistent reporting on project status, risks, and milestones
* Facilitate coordination between engineering, operations, and commercial teams
Risk & Quality Management
* Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Ensure quality assurance processes are in place and followed throughout the build
* Manage change control processes and assess impact on cost and schedule
* Oversee commissioning activities to ensure systems are tested and operational
* Ensure smooth transition from construction to operations teams
* Manage documentation, certification, and final project close‑out
Key Requirements
Experience
* Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects, ideally within data centres or other mission‑critical environments (e.g. healthcare, utilities, industrial facilities)
Skills
* Strong project management and organisational skills
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* Solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
Qualifications
* Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) preferred
* 33 days annual leave
