Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-time, hybrid Bookkeeper to join our team. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the financial management of our organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience with Xero and possess strong organisational skills to ensure accurate financial record-keeping. Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain accurate financial records using the accounting software Xero
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
* Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
* Prepare financial reports and summaries as required for management review
* Support year-end accounting activities and liaise with external accountants when necessary
* Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies
Requirements
* Proven experience with accounting software including Xero
* Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
* Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Prior experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
* The ability to work in person in the office once a week.
