We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Brickwork Lecturer to join our friendly and professional Construction department.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for delivering teaching and learning to our Brickwork students across levels 1–2.
Working closely with the Director of Learning, Programme Manager, and the rest of the Construction team, you will share your Brickwork industry knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level. You will also drive continuous improvement within the College. Your duties include acting as a personal tutor for Level 1 & 2 students, promoting attendance, participating in team meetings, preparing lesson plans and Schemes of Work, and contributing to overall planning, development, and review activities within your subject area. Additionally, you will act as a course leader, complete quality assurance processes, and assess students' work.
The successful candidate must have:
* A teaching qualification or experience of training (candidates willing to work towards a formal teaching qualification will also be considered)
* A Level 3 Trowel Occupations qualification
* Experience of delivering and assessing Brickwork (preferably within an FE environment)
* Experience of quality assurance in provision
* Relevant industry experience
Experience working with Brickwork and Groundwork apprentices is an advantage but not essential.
