Programme Management Officer - Transformation Office
Are you an experienced PMO professional looking to make an impact? Our utilities client is seeking a skilled Programme Management Officer to play a key role in driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
You'll ensure robust governance, controls and reporting across multiple transformation portfolios. You'll champion stage gate methodology, manage RAIDO registers and help the organisation deliver business benefits efficiently and confidently. Key Responsibilities:
* Apply and uphold agreed stage gate methodology across transformation portfolios.
* Deliver portfolio-level governance, controls and assurance.
* Produce timely, accurate and insightful performance reporting for senior leadership.
* Maintain RAIDO registers and ensure effective management of risks, actions, issues, dependencies and opportunities.
* Embed PMO standards and best practices.
* Support continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates and tools.
* Provide clear, evidence-based reporting to transformation boards and senior stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
* Significant experience in programme/portfolio PMO within large-scale transformation programmes.
* Strong governance and methodology knowledge (stage gate, portfolio controls).
* Proven RAIDO management and reporting capability.
* Analytical thinker with excellent data handling and presentation skills.
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
* Resilient, detail-focused and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
* Experience in utilities or regulated industries is highly desirable.
* Professional certification desirable (e.g. MSP, MoP, P3O, PRINCE2, APM).
