Department Description You would be an integral part of the Operational Risk team, reporting to the Head of Operational Risk. You will be part of a wider team responsible for successfully delivering Second Line of Defence capability within the bank. Role Description Helping to maintain the Operational Risk Framework (ORF) including related Second Line policies and procedures in support of the bank’s Operational Risk system Supporting the Head of Operational Risk in implementing the bank’s Operational Risk Assurance plan Supporting Control testing and Assurance reviews Working with the First Line of Defence to support the bank’s Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and administration of the bank’s annual RCSA refresh Operationally maintaining the bank’s GRC system and processes Providing quantitative and qualitative input into the Bank’s Operational Risk Reporting Supporting the team to deliver regular deep-dive reviews of the bank’s Operational Risk profile Principal Accountabilities Working with the First Line to provide Operational Risk support Operational Risk assurance, including Controls Testing - provision of assurance, reporting and identification capability to provide a full picture of the bank’s Operational Risks and related controls Supporting the wider Compliance team colleagues with overarching objectives Driving the effective maintenance and continuous improvement of the GRC system to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent risk and control data Promoting a risk-focused culture across the bank and embodying the bank’s values Personal Attributes & Experience Strong Operational Risk knowledge and experience including GRCs, Assurance reviews, RCSAs, Controls and Risk Libraries, Risk Event reporting Focused upon delivering results and meeting deadlines Good, clear communicator Ability to provide necessary challenge in a constructive manner Strong team player Working at Allica Bank At Allica Bank we want to ensure our employees have the right tools and environment in which to succeed in their role and in support of our customers.
