You’ll work closely with our Head of People and wider HR team to support the development of a high-performing, engaged, and future-ready workforce. This role goes beyond policies, it's about helping shape a people strategy that drives business success, empowers individuals, and supports long-term career growth across the company. In this varied and impactful role, you'll partner with leaders and teams to support the full employee lifecycle, from organisational planning and talent development to performance enablement and employee engagement. You'll contribute to shaping our culture, evolving our people practices, and ensuring we're building an inclusive environment where all employees can grow and succeed. This includes supporting the development of clear career pathways, championing employee experience, and ensuring our HR approach scales effectively with the business. You'll also play a key role in maintaining compliance with employment law while keeping our people-first ethos. Responsibilities Partner with managers and leaders to deliver a high-impact People Strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans Support the design and implementation of scalable people practices across performance management, employee engagement, and talent development Advise on organisational design, workforce planning, and team effectiveness Lead or support initiatives around career development, including building career pathways, succession planning, and upskilling programs Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people matters, providing coaching and guidance where required Collaborate with the wider People Team to ensure all HR policies, procedures, and practices reflect a people-first, inclusive culture and are aligned with legislative requirements Use people data and insights to shape decision-making, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement across HR initiatives Champion employee experience by supporting engagement surveys, feedback loops, and action planning across teams Support the evolution of our DEI strategy and ensure it’s embedded into all aspects of the employee lifecycle Lead and support on change management, helping teams and individuals navigate organisational change positively and productively Perform other duties as required About You Qualifications A minimum of CIPD Level 5 qualification is required for this role. A valid driving licence is also essential, as our office location is not easily accessible by public transport. Skills and competencies Essential: CIPD level 5 or equivalent Proven HRBP experience with a solid track record of being within a strategic HRBP role. Confident handling ER matters with sound judgement and legal understanding Able to interpret people data and use insights to inform action. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices Comfortable with ambiguity and change Desirable Experience working in a fast paced, growing team.
