Overview
Electrical Control and Instrumentation Technician opportunities with a client in the Sussex area. Permanent positions on water industry projects. Based in the MEICA and capital maintenance team. The MEICA experts provide operation and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
* Delivery of preventative maintenance of electrical systems, controls and instrumentation.
* Perform reactive and corrective maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
* Replace and calibrate instruments, install new systems and equipment, and commissioning, in line with BS7671 18th Edition standards.
* Ensure compliance with The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974; adhere to industry, British, International, and customer standards, as well as the client’s policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
* Work across multiple locations.
Qualifications
* ONC/HNC in engineering (or equivalent), NVQ, or C&G Level 3 Electrical 18th Edition qualification
* Industrial project experience
* Instrumentation and telemetry connection experience
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols
* Full valid driver’s licence
