Role Summary
* Lead and work within the theatre unit, providing high quality patient care and acting as a resource.
* Collaborate with community theatre educators to ensure appropriate training.
* Plan and manage individual care programmes in the perioperative period.
* Guide, instruct, and monitor junior staff, students, and support staff.
* Practice according to Professional Codes and statutory requirements.
* Meet objectives set during Personal Development Reviews in line with KSF outlines.
* Work flexibly within any area of the Trust as directed to support service needs.
* Act as the unit coordinator in the absence of Senior Staff.
About the Role
The Tiverton Day Case Unit seeks a professional, flexible, motivated individual capable of leading a team and delivering high-quality patient care within the theatre pathway.
The successful applicant will provide leadership and experience within the Tiverton Day Surgery unit, fostering innovation and improvement.
We offer an excellent work-life balance, working Monday to Friday, and are closed on bank holidays.
