Overview
Salary: £34,274 - £40,640 assuming good attendance and up to 4 sleep ins per month. This role is in our Children’s Homes, helping young people with social, emotional and mental health needs and contributing to positive outcomes and lifelong wellbeing.

Responsibilities
* You’ll take care of our young people day to day, ensuring things run smoothly and creating lasting memories.
* Help them get ready for school, assist with homework, complete paperwork and plan activities.
* Evenings and weekends are for engaging activities (e.g., games, outings) and positive experiences at work.
* Tap into each young person’s needs, personality and potential to guide them toward a positive future.

Requirements
* A ‘can do’ attitude – a team player who helps others
* Honesty and empathy; genuine care for our young people and colleagues
* Resilience to deal with challenging situations
* Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
* If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we’ll pay for you to study and support you
You’ll start life as a Residential Support Worker by joining our Care Academy – 4 weeks of off-the-job training with experienced WG professionals to help you feel confident and ready to support our young people.
