This is a great opportunity to join the established Engineering Team at our clients busy distribution centre in Derbyshire and as a Reliability Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the systems, products, and processes operate with maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
We are looking for a strong team player that has experience within an FMCG environment, multi skilled with an electrical bias and a solid understanding and experience with Siemens S7.
With the team you will need to confidently respond to breakdowns and manage the schedule of planned maintenance on a wide range of equipment on site that includes, but not limited, to belted and roller conveyors, right angle transfers (RAT), automated storage retrieval system and material handling equipment, box erectors, print & apply machines, carton erectors, lid applicators etc
Key Responsibilities of a Reliability Engineer
Carry out routine and preventative on automation, control panels and robotics
Fault finding and trouble shooting of equipment
Collaborate with the wider engineering team to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum and support technicians
Mentoring the technicians on site
Record all work in the CMMS system
Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines
Attention to detail Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Apprentice trained or Equivalent Minimum level 3
Multi Skilled Electrically Bias
Experienced in Automation, Maintenance Engineering within an FMCG environment
Experience with Siemens S7
Troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of HMI's and PLCs
Strong Communicator
