Willow A is a new general medical ward based at the Cumberland Infirmary. The ward has 29 beds and we are looking for enthusiastic clinical support workers who want to come and join our new team.

Main Duties
We are looking for dedicated and caring health care assistants to work within our friendly team. You will assist the nurses and ward staff in the day‑to‑day delivery of all care needs to our patients.
* Ensure the nutritional needs of the patient are met by assisting them to eat and drink, helping them complete their daily menu card, and recording accurately nutritional and fluid intake, reporting concerns to the Registered Nurse.
* Ensure privacy and dignity at all times.

Qualifications & Person Specification
Essential
* Level 3 vocational qualification or short courses and completion of a competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care duties
* Theoretical knowledge
* Experience of a range of care and related procedures
* Clinical observations
* Knowledge of data protection legislation and health and safety at work legislation
* National Care Certificate or commitment to complete within 12 weeks of commencing employment
