Live in Butler Job
A role has become available for a Butler to work in this beautiful home in Hampshire. There is a Chef, a Housekeeper, Laundry lady and grounds and river staff. This is a fishing estate and often have BBQs and picnics by the lake, especially when entertaining. This is a weekend residence and is used 4 days out of the week. They have a fabulous team, so are looking for someone to fit in and muck in as and when needed.
Duties involve:
* Driver is essential as you may need to drive to the airport
* Setting of table
* Dinner service (formal and informal service)
* Working closely with Chef on menu planning
* Raising rooms for business meetings
* Front of house, meeting and greeting guests
* Silver polishing
* Care of antique furniture
* Helping with housekeeping as and when needed
* Wine cellar management
They often travel to New York, Switzerland, and they also have a yacht. You will be required to travel 2 times a year to any of these destinations. There is also a lot of downtime when they are away, so this is when you can take your holidays.
2 bedroom cottage on the estate, pets and partners are welcome.
