Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for a Stores Person/Admin to join our client based in Leicester
They are a long established manufacturing business that are looking for someone to join their team
The job:
You will be responsible for working in their stores ensuring stock in maintained and oversee deliveries arrive
You will be using the computer to ensure stock is correct and orders and picks are maintained
Working hours Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm and Friday 7.30am-12.30pm
Salary is £12.21ph
Key responsibilities:
Working as part of the team that looks after the main stores which has stock required for the production teams
The stores is open at set times each day for people to get products required for production jobs
At other times, you will be taking deliveries, checking deliveries, putting stock away and inputting into computer system
There will be times where you need to check stock and update the computer system
Person requirement:
Ideally you will have experience in a stores or stock control job within a manufacturing, production or engineering company
Be computer literate
Be numerate as the job involves counting
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and record keeping
Effective communicator and able to work across multiple departments
