Be part of our Digital Transformation and join the University of Portsmouth’s growing Software Testing team and play a key role in delivering high-quality digital solutions across HR, Finance, Marketing, and more. As part of our Azure Integrations Hub programme, you’ll design and execute automated tests that ensure our systems connect seamlessly and perform reliably. Working within a modern Microsoft .NET and Azure DevOps environment, you’ll use tools like MSTest and SpecFlow (BDD/Gherkin) to build robust, scalable test solutions. What you’ll do: - Create and run automated tests for system integrations - Develop test plans, scenarios, and test data - Manage defects and report on quality metrics - Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure smooth CI/CD delivery What we’re looking for: - Experience in automation testing and CI/CD environments - Strong knowledge of BDD and test frameworks (e.g. MSTest, SpecFlow) - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Confident communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences You’ll be part of an innovative, supportive team driving real change across the University, and we would love to hear from you if this role sounds of interest to you and aligns with your skills set.
