Company Description To support in ensuring the handling and despatch of all customer product is achieved to optimum levels of cost and efficiency through the effective supervision and control of all staff and resources, whilst equally maintaining the highest levels of safety, welfare and security within all areas of warehouse shift activity. Ensure all products in line with customers/clients specifications and quantities are picked/packed and dispatched to meet with required Service Level Agreement standards. Ensure the handling of all products is carried out to the highest standards of Health and Safety, equally applying best practice to the protection and packaging of Customers/Client orders to sustain transition through Warehouses/Distribution Centres and Carrier Networks. Ensure optimum levels of stock integrity are achieved through understanding of all processes and procedures of Warehouse Operations. Through consultation with operations and planning be responsible for ensuring all areas of responsibility are staffed commensurate to the achievement of scheduled and planned tasks and peak volume associated activity in line with optimum service and cost efficiencies. In conjunction with the Operations Manager as required conduct structured interviews against pre-defined personal specification and job description requirements. Ensuring accurate records are maintained against activity as required under Site Operating Procedures. Ensure all processes, daily checks, defect reporting, training and operations of MHE are conducted in line with both Company and Legislative Health and Safety Requirements. Support the commercial objectives of the business through a process of continual review Qualifications Experience of managing teams within a multi client warehouse environment desirable Process oriented - an appreciation for specific client requirements Delivery of quality and cost improvements through continuous improvement People manager - Leads by example, encourages team spirit and can motivate a team Adaptable & responsive to change - ability to monitor workflow and move workforce accordingly.
